PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELLING
I see individuals seeking a space to bring clarity to their situations , supporting them with care through difficult life circumstances. My approach is grounded in mindfulness, being present and open to the possibilities each person holds within themselves for awareness and change. I do this by working alongside the person in exploring family systems, developing inner awareness and finding practical ways to engage in the world with greater authenticity. Each session is tailored to the needs of the person, drawing from my training and experience in therapies from cognitive behavioural, systemic and mindfulness mediation.
Symptoms are Solutions
Symptoms often show up physically and psychologically, such as anxiety, headaches, panic attacks, depression, addictions etc... These can be seen as coping strategies that deal with and mask the issues that are too difficult to deal with on a daily basis. I offer a platform in which to explore deeply what needs symptoms are meeting in order to approach the issues themselves more directly and meet these needs in healthier ways.

Body-Talk
The body expresses and also stores many emotions and memories. Even our posture can reflect thoughts and emotions. I work primarily with the body, helping people to become more aware and process the past that can be held in the body and consequently ongoing relationships and habits. Letting go can be a tactile and practical experience.
